Liposomal Vitamin C, Explained
What the phospholipids are for, why the capsule is plant-based, and what vitamin C really does on the label.

“Liposomal” has become a marketing word. In our Liposomal Vitamin C it describes something specific: L-ascorbic acid combined with phospholipids. Here is what that means, no more and no less.
Vitamin C is the most familiar vitamin on any shelf, and also one of the easiest to under-explain. Ours is L-ascorbic acid, the same molecule found in citrus fruit, combined with phospholipids and sealed inside a plant-based hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule. That combination is what we mean by liposomal.
What the phospholipids are doing
Phospholipids are the fats that form the membranes of every cell in the body. Binding vitamin C to them is a formulation choice: it gives the vitamin a lipid carrier rather than leaving it as a bare powder in a capsule. We make no claim beyond what is on the label — the point is a well-made, convenient, tablet-free way to add vitamin C to your day.
What vitamin C contributes to
- The normal function of the immune system.
- Normal collagen formation for the skin.
- Protecting cells from oxidative stress, as an antioxidant.
The practical details
A daily serving of one to two capsules provides 200–400 mg of vitamin C. Take it with meals; the suggested course is one month, which may be repeated. A bottle holds 60 capsules, so at two capsules a day it lasts a month, and at one capsule a day, two.
If a vitamin C label cannot tell you the amount per capsule and the form, keep walking.
